Five Questions with Abe Hollister

Tell us a bit about how you came to know the Lord. "In March of 2001 the Lord Jesus fully made Himself know to me and I accepted Him as my Lord, Savior, Master and Friend."

How long have you been at Lakewood/on the worship team? "I have been at Lakewood since April of 2001 and on the worship team since 2008."

What instrument do you play/where do you serve with the team? "I play the Djembe, an African hand drum. In the Bambara language dje' is the verb for gathering and be' translates as peace. So the Djembe means 'gathering of peace'."

Why should someone consider serving on the worship team? "I love to worship the good Lord in song with a gathering of fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord. I believe and have experienced Lakewood Worship Team as a great way to do that."
