Sunday School Classes
We are currently using The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum, which is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—from Genesis to Revelation—over the course of three years. Each week, these stories come to life through video, music activities, and more as kids connect Biblical events to God's ultimate plan of redemption through Christ. It's the whole Bible like kids have never seen it before!
Preschool - Kindergarten
Children ages 3 - 5 are welcome to attend Sunday School for both the 9 AM and 10:45 AM services September through May. From June through August, they can join us during either service for Children's Church. Our weekly class time is filled with worship, Bible lessons, scripture memory, and age-appropriate learning activities. If your child stays for both services during the school year, they will learn two different lessons.
Grades 1 - 5
Children in Grades 1 - 5 meet for Sunday School during the 9 AM service, September through May. Our weekly class time is filled with worship, Bible lessons, scripture memory, and age-appropriate learning activities.
Volunteers are the backbone of Lakewood Children's Ministry. As a Children's Ministry volunteer, you partner with Lakewood, other volunteers, and the children's parents to help lay a foundation of Biblical truth and loving relationships in these children's lives, with the ultimate goal of seeing them become disciples of Christ. We would love to have you join us in this kingdom-building work.
