This first volume of The Attributes of God examines ten attributes of God. It also includes a study guide for an in-depth look at each attribute: Infinite, Immense, Good, Just, Merciful, Gracious, Omnipresent, Immanent, Holy, and Perfect. Steeped in Scripture and filled with the Spirit, Tozer preached with striking clarity and power. The sense of his sermons comes through on every page, bringing the Word of God to bear upon you. This class will start on Tuesday, June 6 at 8:30 AM and will meet for six weeks at the home of Barb Greatens. Cost is $12.
The enemy wants us to feel rejected . . . left out, lonely, and less than. In Uninvited, Lysa Terkeurst shares her own deeply personal experiences of rejection--from the perceived judgment of the perfectly toned woman one elliptical over to the incredibly painful childhood abandonment by her father. She leans in to honestly examine the roots of rejection, as well as rejection's ability to poison relationships from the inside out, including our relationship with God. This class will start on Wednesday, June 7 at 7:15 PM and will meet for six weeks at Lakewood. Cost is $10.
We were never meant to take this journey of faith alone or in secret. God has entrusted us with the great and mighty gift of the gospel, something too precious and life-giving to keep to ourselves. In this 6-session Bible study, Beth Moore will encourage you to guard what God has entrusted to you, further His kingdom by sharing Christ with others, and pour into future generations just as Paul once mentored Timothy. Because in this journey of joy and hardship, we need each other to stay the course and live lives of faithfulness. This class will start on Tuesday, June 6 at 6 PM and will meet for six weeks at Lakewood. Cost is $13.
